Kehlani, a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and dancer, proudly represents Oakland, California. She is a reflection of the city’s rich culture and diverse community, which has deeply shaped her music, activism, personal identity, and raw storytelling.
Kehlani returned home to Oakland to promote her latest studio album Crash. She chose 3319 Marché as the ideal space to host a pop-up meet-and-greet, transforming our brick-and-mortar location into a full Kehlani flagship for a day. Crash Records was the makeshift record shop designed by Bay Area jack-of-all-trades artist @chalberto. This retro-inspired record store featured original pressings of all her albums, purchasable merchandise, and memorabilia from her biggest inspirations, such as Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo.
With heavy anticipation surrounding Kehlani’s return, fans waited up to seven hours to meet the artist, with the line looping around Lakeshore Ave.
